It began with work... and turned into a friendship
Before we became a surf experience, we were already building something together.
Hassane Jermoune was creating websites for surf schools, surf camps, and villas along the coast. During that journey, he worked on the website for Tafoukt Surf with Mohamed Abid - a certified surfer from the Moroccan Surf Federation. What started as a professional project quickly became a real friendship.
From beginner to believer
Working around surf camps created curiosity... but curiosity is not surfing.
So Hassane came to Imsouane as a total beginner - knowing nothing about boards, waves, or surf culture. That is where Mohamed and Clapo introduced him to the ocean, the mindset, and the discipline of surfing.
The falls, the laughter, the first successful wave - it was not just sport. It was a transformation.
And that is when the idea became clear: If surfing could help a beginner feel this alive, confident, and present, we could create an experience that helps others the same way.
The missing piece: hospitality that feels effortless
But surfing alone does not create a complete journey.
That is where Zakaria became our golden nugget. With 10+ years of hospitality experience, including top hotels in the Maldives, he brought a level of care and professionalism that changed everything.
Zakaria taught us that real hospitality is not about strict protocols - it is about making guests feel happy, relaxed, and fully present. It is about reading people, creating comfort, and turning simple moments into memories.
