Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. This policy outlines your options if you need to cancel or modify a booking with Tafoukt Surf Experience.
1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to contact@tafouktsurfexperience.com. The cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your email.

Refunds are processed within 14 business days by the same payment method used for the original transaction. Bank transfer fees, if applicable, are deducted from the refund amount.
2. Rescheduling
If you would prefer to reschedule rather than cancel, we will accommodate changes subject to availability:
- Free rescheduling if requested 15 days or more before arrival.
- One free reschedule within the 8–14 day window if requested at least 8 days before arrival. Subsequent changes within this window incur a €20 fee.
- No rescheduling within 7 days of arrival (except for Tafoukt-initiated cancellations — see section 3).
Rescheduled bookings must be used within 12 months of the original booking date.
3. Cancellations Initiated by Tafoukt
Dangerous conditions
Surf lessons may be cancelled or shortened on the day by our lead instructor if ocean conditions are deemed unsafe (strong currents, storm swell, high winds). Safety is our absolute priority. In such cases:
- If the lesson has not started: full credit or refund offered.
- If more than half the session time has elapsed: no refund is due, but we will offer a complimentary lesson on the next available date.
- If less than half the session time has elapsed: a 50% credit toward a future session is offered.
Force majeure
If Tafoukt is forced to cancel due to extraordinary circumstances beyond our control (see Force Majeure in our Terms & Conditions), we will offer a full refund or a 12-month credit note.
4. No-Shows
Guests who fail to arrive on the confirmed date and have not cancelled in advance are treated as a 7-day or fewer cancellation and forfeit all payments made.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation. Many policies allow you to claim a refund for pre-paid, non-refundable costs in the event of illness, injury, family emergency, or travel disruption.
6. How to Cancel
- Email contact@tafouktsurfexperience.com with your full name, booking dates, and reason for cancellation.
- We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and confirm the applicable refund amount.
- Refunds are processed within 14 business days of confirmation.
